" RODEO GIRLS STORY " This fashion phenomenon reached France in 2000 and now it’s everywhere you look. After the wave had broken first in advertising, fashion and pop videos (Madonna) and then in music (Shania Twain), it was only a matter of time before the movement reached our country and got us dancing. And that’s what the group’s theme song "Do You Wanna Go To Buffalo" is all about. This new track in the "Pop-Country" style was recorded in France and produced by Marie-Christine Maillet, the group’s manager. The latter is a "Concept Designer" and a choreographer by trade and she has put on a real American-style show. THE RODEO GIRLS: THE NEW COUNTRY GIRL BAND 2002 They’ve come up with an all-singing, all-dancing show with highly original and very sexy "cowgirl" costumes – which are very fashionable right now. The group first got noticed by taking part in the big "Equiblues" rodeo festival in St Agrève two years running and then at the "Horse Show" in Paris where they performed at the opening parade followed by a concert in the evening for the awards ceremony. The event was broadcast by FR 2 and by the "Equidia" cable channel. 2003 They were at the 1st Country Western Festival at “Disney Village” where they appeared on the stage of the “Dome” before heading off on tour with their all-singing, all-dancing show entitled “On the Road Again” They have appeared at numerous conventions at Billy Bob’s 2004 They performed on the central podium at Disney Village on Independence Day They were invited to appear during the “American Journeys” in Cambrai They were approached by the MATCH TV cable channel for a report on fashion and country music in a programme called "Tendance Amanda" which was broadcast on 1st May 2004 En 2005 They gave a showcase performance at the "New Country" nights at Planet Hollywood in Paris. On 2nd April they performed at the "Music Box" night in Poissy. They presented the 1st "Tremplin 2005 des Nouveaux Talents de la Country" (2005 Showcase for New Country Talent) on 23rd April on the stage of the Dome at Disney-Village before heading off on tour in search of New Talent for 2006. This summer they were at festivals in Avranches, Cerexhe in Belgium and at the major "Fête du Bison" event with Les Forbans in Switzerland In 2006 The Rodeo Girls will be presenting their new show as well as working on a CD which will be out soon. They will be at theu "Paris Country Festival" à Villebon en Juin 2006 et préparent le 1er Spectacle Musical Country "The Rodéo Girls Story " The quality and originality of their work on stage have been acknowledged by the whole of the Country Music media and numerous professionals !
